Atomic Tattoo's "Tats for Tatas"
Raises Money for Breast Cancer Research

The folks over at Atomic Tattoos are hoping that the work they do saves lives.

During the month of October, the Tampa Bay-based company will be taking 10% of all sales from their 13 studios and donating it to the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation. Also as part of the fundraising drive they're calling "Tats for Tatas," each studio will be selling limited-edition Pink Ribbon tattoos for $50, as well as $15 pink body jewelry. All tattoo sessions of $100 or more will also be discounted by $50 and everyone participating will also receive a $25 gift certificate toward future work.

For more information regarding Atomic Tattoos, the "Tats for Tatas" campaign or to find their nearest studio, click here.

RudeTV Goes on Hiatus

In a move engineered to both cut costs and reformat their existing broadcast schedule, RudeTV has announced plans to temporarily close their studio doors with tentative plans for re-launch in the near future.

“Due to the current financial climate, we, not unlike many other companies, are looking for ways to trim our budget while still continuing to provide quality programming to our loyal RudeTV fan community. Unfortunately, at this time that plan must include temporarily ceasing studio operations”, says RudeTV’s Marketing Director, Chandie Foster.

“We are looking forward to developing a new format for the site to provide the community and the performers an exciting new direction that we will be moving towards in the future.”

According to Foster, RudeTV.com will remain online and all archived shows will still be available for viewing. All affiliate links for RudeTV.com will redirect to our flagship website Rude.com and no affiliates will lose credit or earnings during the transition. Details on the re-launch date were not immediately available.

Among the shows on RudeTV was "Ink Addicts" on Monday nights, hosted by Baadmaster and MyTattooGirl Regan Reese. In the last year, Sacha Libido, Tabitha James and Kitten have all made appearances on the show, which can be seen in the archives at RudeTV.com, as noted by Foster.

MyTattooGirls Hits Tattoo Hollywood

After missing out on the last couple of local tattoo conventions due to prior commitments, we made sure to hit Tattoo Hollywood this past weekend at the Grand Ballroom of the Renaissance Hotel.

Along with plenty of tattooing and piercing going on throughout the convention hall, there was a seminar presented by artist Shawn Barber and more than 30 contests from Friday through the end of the day Sunday, with winners for Tattoo of the Day receiving machines from Lucky Supply.

The pre-show festivities opened with an art show featuring the work of Bob Roberts titled, "Alive: The Chosen Views of Bob Roberts," which was held at Canvas L.A.

All-in-all, the attendance left a little something to be desired, but having a much more intimate setting for a tattoo convention was definitely a nice touch.

Hunter Bryce Gets Pierced by Two Needles

Man, the crazy shit that some of these girls will do to get inked and pierced.

This weekend, we had sexy Latina porn starlet Hunter Bryce come into the studio to get some work done and to shoot some content, but not just your run-of-the-mill porn. No, no, no.

Bryce wanted to get her the nipples on her nice, round 34D tits pierced, so we pierced them.

Then, she also wanted to get her wrist tattooed, so we got her wrist tattooed... while she was in the process of getting fucked! (You don't think you were going to let her get away with just a simple little wrist tattoo, did you?!)

In hindsight, it might actually be the crazy shit that these girls do to get fucked. I don't know, but either way we all walk away getting what we want!

Jodi Caged-Up and Behind Bars

When Jodi came out here to visit us late last week to shoot content and hang-out with Sascha and the MyTattooGirls.com crew, I don't think she imagined that she'd be spending quite so much time locked-up.

We first put her into a jail cell, naked and deprived of sex, but we did give her bread and water. Then, when the freedom of being able to move around became a little too much of a comfort, we placed her into a smaller cage, which only seemed to bring out the wild woman in her.

In the end though, she got fucked good and hard, which is our idea of serving "hard time" at MyTattooGirls.com, and we dropped all charges once she dropped to her knees.

Kat Von D Got Her Tattoos Removed?!

It would be going to a seriously overdramatic extreme to say that a world without a fully tatted Kat Von D is a world not worth living in, but it's definitely one fucked-up Bizarro world, that's for damn sure.

Nevertheless, the tattooed ink-slinging star of L.A. Ink did get her tattoos removed last week, each and every one of them sexy little bad boys!

Well, kinda. Sorta. Not really.

What she did was use makeup to cover them all up, including her famous stars on her face, for a photo shoot to introduce her new line of tattoo concealer, available only at cosmetic retailer Sephora.

Aside from the $25 price tag per tube, the one major drawback to the concealer is that it only comes in flesh tones for lighter-colored skin: light, medium and tan.

Customer reviews on the Sephora website seem to be mixed, but the majority of users seem to like the stuff.

Personally, I'd much rather see her create a type of makeup that helps to bring out the colors in fading tattoos, but who am I to judge Kat mother Von fucking D?

Tatted MILF Zoey Holloway
Visits MTG Studios

Visiting today to do some work for a company renting out the studio was inked MILF Zoey Holloway.

Having been in the industry since February of this year, Zoey's got about two dozen scenes under her belt. She also six tattoos mostly above her belt, including both forearms, her right breast, lower back, left shoulder and right ankle.

Currently gathering content for her upcoming website, ZoeyHollowayXXX.com, she's hoping to have the site launched by the end of this year.

Did UFC 101 Kill Our Theory on Tattooed Toughness?

We're gonna make this really short and sweet, straight to the point: Tattoos do not necessarily make one guy a better fighter than a dude without any ink.

Remember that little experiment we did the other night with UFC 101 going on, where we picked our winners based on who had the sickest ink? Didn't prove shit.

Forget about the fact that we were wrong about Kenny Florian upsetting BJ Penn and REALLY wrong about the Forrest Griffin-Anderson Silva fight, but in just the six matches where either one or both of the fighters had tattoos, we went a less-than-stellar 3-for-6 in our predictions—tattooed badasses Kurt Pellegrino, John Howard and Alessio Sakara all won, while Kendall Grove, Shane Nelson and George Roop should all be scheduling their appointments with Dr. Tattoff right about now thanks to their losses in the octagon.

So, our little theory about tattooed toughness needs a minor adjustment or two. Oh well.

At least we didn't get knocked the fuck out like Griffin did.

Who's got the hottest tattoos in UFC?

Ultimate Fighting Championship is about one thing and one thing only: Two guys trying to beat the shit out of each other until one guy either submits by tapping out or is knocked unconscious. Always has been and always will be.

Here at MyTattooGirls.com though, we're more about hot chicks going at it, as well as tattoos, so we're going to put a little theory to the test. UFC101 just got started a little while ago with the preliminary fights, so before it gets too far into it, we're going to make some predictions.

Fuck the fighting styles and size differences, throw the records and injuries and scouting reports out the window. All we're concerned with is who's got the more badass ink of the two fighters involved in each fight. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.

BJ Penn vs. Kenny Florian (Main Event — UFC Lightweight Championship): Talk about lightweights. Yeah, these guys might be some of the toughest dudes, pound-for-pound in the octagon, beating their opponents to a bloody pulp, but their ink—or lack thereof—is a fucking shame. Penn has absolutely nothing, while all we could find on Florian is a tiny little something-something on his inner bicep. Winner: Florian

Anderson Silva vs. Forrest Griffin: Neither of these guys have any tattoos, but fuck it, we're going with Forrest Griffin only because he looks like he'd be one hardcore motherfucker with some ink. Winner: Griffin

Ricardo Almeida vs. Kendall Grove: Now we're finally talking! Ricardo Almeida joins Silva, Griffin and Penn in the "I'd Be a Total Monster If Only I Had Some Tattoos" Club, but Grove is quite the ink addict. The dude's got two sleeves, a piece that goes between his neck and chest, an abdomen piece and some ink that goes right under the right side of his his right pec. If there were a MyTattooGuys, Grove would be under contract. Winner: Grove

Josh Neer vs. Kurt Pellegrino: Another one-sided affair, this time in favor of Pellegrino. One half sleeve, one full sleeve that looks as though it connects to the ribs. Neer, on the other hand, looks as if he's never even been near a tattoo parlor. Winner: Pellegrino

Johny Hendricks vs. Amir Sadollah: Neither of the two have a single tattoo that we can see. Isn't there supposed to be a rule in UFC requiring all fighters to have at least one fucking tattoo?! If not, I'm petitioning for that shit. Winner: Split Decision

Aaron Riley vs. Shane Nelson: Nelson's got a sleeve, a half-sleeve and a stomach piece, while Riley has jack shit. Anyone who can endure the pain of a stomach tattoo has a seriously high pain threshold. Expect Riley to get his ass handed to him. Winner: Nelson

John Howard vs. Tamdan McCrory: At the weigh-in, Howard looked like half-computer geek, half-killer with his dorky glasses and ink. Nothing major for Howard, just some stuff on his arm, underarm and rib, but that beats McCrory's big ol' goose egg. Winner: Howard

Alessio Sakara vs. Thales Leites: Sakara's got a full chest piece that connects to his sleeves and a full back piece and Leites has virgin skin. If Leites makes it out alive, or even with his limbs fully attached and functional, more power to him. Winner: Sakara

Dan Cramer vs. Matthew Riddle: Neither has any visible tattoos, but Riddle looks like Carrot Top's douchebag brother, wearing sunglasses to the weigh-in, so our money is on Cramer. Winner: Cramer

George Sotiropoulos vs. George Roop: We were originally going to take the safe bet and just go with "A Guy Named George," but Roop actually has some sleeve work and a stomach piece, whereas Sotiropoulos has nothing but a name that's hard to spell and even harder to pronounce. After tonight though, Sotiropoulos might actually have a tattoo—of Roop's fists, imprinted on his face. Winner: Roop

Danillo Villefort vs. Jesse Lennox: Nothing. Nothing at all. This is probably—or at least hopefully—where Brock Lesnar comes in with his big-ass sword chest-to-stomach piece and annihilates both. Winner: Some guy without tattoos.

Now, please note that this here was not meant as a disrespect in any way, shape or form to anyone without tattoos, but we're just doing a little experiment, trying to see here if tattoos really do make guys bigger, badder, tougher. That's it. We'll see in a couple hours how things end up.

MyTattooGirls Invades the East Coast

This is gonna be another long fucking weekend for MyTattooGirls and by the time it's all over, the East Coast will never be the same!

Already there corrupting all the girls of South Beach—if that's even humanly possible—Sascha Libido and some of the MyTattooGirls crew will be attending the InterNEXT web conference at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood, FL. InterNEXT, which runs from Friday through Sunday, is the premier web conference for the adult industry. Don't let that fool you though. It's really more like 5% networking, 5% seminars, 90% partying.

Meanwhile, up north, little ol' Tabitha James is gonna be getting her pussy busted by a bunch of strangers, doing a shoot for a NJ-based website. Gotta admire a girl who will travel all the way cross-country to suck-and-fuck. At the same time, she's also looking to get in some more girl-girl or maybe even boy-girl-girl content with the sexiest tattooed Asian MILF in America, Slut Momo. If you haven't seen it already, you gotta check out their girl-girl scene at MTG!

Anyway, before it's too late, pray for the collective soul of the entire East Coast, from the Canadian border to the tip of the Florida panhandle. You've been warned.

Can Megan Fox be Transformed Into a MTG?

A funny, albeit kinda creepy, thing happened to super-sexy inked Transformers star Megan Fox last weekend at Comic-Con in San Diego, CA.

She was propositioned by a film school graduate for a celebrity sex tape to help him get his video career started with a... well, with a bang.

Needless to say, the guy was hauled off by security.

Fox, who has several tattoos including her shoulder, side and wrist, was at the convention to promote her new Western/sci-fi film, Jonah Hex.

[Note to Miss Fox: Megan, if you decide to do a sex tape, we here at MTG want first dibs!]

Serena

One of the easiest ways to keep the hottest girls here at the studio is to take them back to the dungeon set and either tie them to the cross or just wrap them up in so many chains that they're just stuck there until they can get them all untangled.

That's what we did with sexy little Serena.

Actually, she chose to get wrapped-up in the chains on her own free will and made it out of them pretty easily once the shoot was over. It was almost just as easy to get her out of the chains as it was to get her out of her clothes.

As for the cross, some might call it "blasphemy," but we call it good, clean, wholesome fun in the Church of MyTattooGirls.

Trio of Smoking Hot Porn Stars
Visit the MyTattooGirls Studios

From top to bottom, we recently had Brooke Haven, Jayden James and Angelica Raven in the studio, shooting for a couple of different companies who rented the studio for the day and the girls were showing off... well, showing off their tops and bottoms!

MTG COMMENTARY:
Ashley Tisdale and Dallas Police's Common Bond?

Whether it's Ashley Tisdale or your local authorities, America needs to quit bitching about ink.

Earlier this morning on my MyTattooGirls.com blog, I wrote about how we as a society need to stop looking down on celebrity "role models" because of their tattoos.

Apparently, Tisdale—of Disney Channel fame—got a tattoo on her back and the public, everyone from TMZ to your next door neighbor went into a massive uproar, saying that that's no way for a fan favorite of kids to present themselves.

Now, reading through my Twitter page earlier, I came across an interesting news item, stating that the Dallas Police Department has a new policy, in an attempt to "display a more professional image," prohibiting officers from showing off their ink.

Same thing happened a while back with the L.A. Fire Department.

Now, I can possibly understand the logic in keeping celebrities ink-free, as it affects their public image, but I don't give a shit one or another if a police officer, firefighter, EMT or ER surgeon has virgin skin or a full bodysuit.

As long as they get the job in keeping us safe, who the fuck cares?

WEBSITE REVIEW:
InkedNation

Everyone knows about MySpace, Facebook and Twitter, but if you're tattooed or pierced and not on InkedNation.com, you need to close-up your holes and take the next available appointment with Dr. Tattoff for some laser removal.

On its home page, InkedNation claims to be the "World's Largest Tattoo Community," and with good reason, as it offers the ultimate online meeting place for tattoo enthusiasts, artists and studios worldwide. Other sites cover smaller regions, including Tattoo.tv in Ireland and TattooInk.tv in Australia, but InkedNation spans the entire globe.

The profile pages are set-up almost exactly like MySpace in terms of information, with the layout slightly altered. There's two main sections to the profile, "About Me" and "About My Ink," allowing members to share their stories. You can also post photos with a little more leeway in terms of content than what MySpace and Facebook offer. It's also much easier to add music and creating a blog is just as simple as anywhere else.

One of the advantages to InkedNation is that it gives its users the chance to post bulletins to either their entire friends list or just smaller groups within your network. That way, if you have an announcement to make to only artists, you're not getting replies from tattoo enthusiasts, and vice versa. Also, it's much easier to post photos and videos to your bulletins and blogs.

The messaging and comments, well, nothing really to comment there. Pretty basic stuff.

In addition to the usual social networking basics, there's also sections—all accessible through the home page—for Pics, Babes, Flash, Chat, Inked Cams, Music, Events, Classifieds and Dating. Also, all of the sidebar advertisements and links will lead you to other tattoo, piercing and body modification products, services, events and sites, so there's no risk of ending up playing any games trying to figure out who's high school yearbook photo you're looking at. Same thing goes for the News Feed located on each profile. All tattoo news, all the time.

So, while we could go on forever talking about how great InkedNation really is, it would probably be best for you to head there on your own and check it out for yourself.

MTG COMMENTARY:
Beauty is In the Eye of Beholder,
Especially When It Comes to Tattoos

The photo posted above comes from an article we were directed to by one of our followers on Twitter, and can be found online at the Daily Mail website.

Now, what I want to talk about today is not so much the article itself, but the reaction from its readers, most of whom at the time of this post considered the model's tattoos to be ugly. Personally, I love them. I think they're sexy. Girls like this are the very reason Sascha has the site, because he absolutely loves his tattooed girls!

Now, without going into a great debate over who's right and who's wrong, everyone is entitled to their own personal opinion, but when it comes to tattoos, there's just this certain group of haters that will always bash those of us with ink, calling us ugly, gross, hideous, weird and other derogatory names like that.

At the same time, do you hear people with full body suits calling the untatted people out there, myself included, "freaks" and "head cases"? Nope. Not at all. I don't have a single tattoo myself and get along perfectly fine with these "ugly tattooed freaks" that so many people want to bash.

For a good majority of those same people who talk about the looks of those with tattoos, would they ever in a million years talk shit about a person with a major birth defect or huge scars from an accident? God no and why? Because they couldn't help it. It wasn't something they chose to have on their body. People choose to get tattooed, not to get scarred.

Now, don't get me wrong for one second, I'm not saying I don't feel for those who have to suffer with burns and scars, because I do indeed care, but so fucking what if my girlfriend wants to go and get half of her body tattooed, pierced or modified in some other fashion?! It's not my place to say who should get what done to their body, and it's not my place to say that they're more beautiful or uglier because of their individual body mods.

Today's generation, both guys and girls, obviously love tattoos, even on the most feminine of women. Ask Kat Von D and the girls of L.A Ink and Miami Ink. Ask Any of the hundreds of women who have ever posed for Inked or any other tattoo magazine. Ask Joanna Angel. Ask any of the girls on the Suicide Girls, Burning Angel, God's Girls or MyTattooGirls websites.

There will forever be a special place in the heart of today's generation for the tattooed.

Personally, I love tattoos and more than likely you do, too, especially if you're reading this blog. If you don't like tattoos, then just don't get them for yourself. It's your body and your definition of what beauty is. To me, tattoos are sexy and that's all that matters. End of story.

TATTOO INDUSTRY NEWS:
Body Art Expo Hits Southern California

The YouTube video posted above can be found at the website for the Body Art Expo, located at BodyArtExpo.com.

This past weekend, July 17-19, the Body Art Expo, held several times a year in Pomona, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver and Chicago, took place at the Pomona Fairgrounds right here in scorching hot Southern California.

The staff here at MyTattooGirls was unfortunately unable to attend, but our very own Tabitha James has gone to the show at the Los Angeles Convention Center and can attest to the insane amounts of mass hysteria going on at these shows.

Every 20-30 feet, someone is getting something pierced. Chicks are flashing off their pierced nipples and tattooed pussies, all while being careful to avoid security. There's tattoos and piercings going onto and into every body part imaginable, everything from head tattoos to corset piercings. You'll find most tattoo artists using the traditional guns, while others are using the Japanese "Tebori" hand-poke method. Clothing companies are selling their latest fashions, while others are selling everything from glass pipes to sex toys. All-in-all, there's a little something for every one who's got even the smallest interest in body art.

All of the shows are sponsored by the World Famous Baba of Vintage Tattoo Art Parlor. (As a footnote regarding Baba, he's appeared on MyTattooGirls before, tattooing Shyla Stylez.)

Now, finally getting back to this video, if you don't watch it for anything else, go to the 1:04 mark of the video. The chick mentions that there's some "hotties here tonight" and then it goes to.... well, go to the video to check it out! Pretty funny stuff!

MTG COMMENTARY:
Tattoos Mainstream or Not Quite?

Take a good look at Kitten's face. Those tattoos are permanent. They aren't Henna. No Cracker Jack temporary tattoos that you can rub off with alcohol. This is the real fucking deal.

Googling the web for tattoo news right now, found three articles that made me think about Kitten's face and how close—or far—she really is to the mainstream in today's society.

According to a Reuters article which really was no more than a profile on some Portland tattoo artist, tattoos are hitting the mainstream, with more than 38 percent of Americans between the age of 18 and 25 having at least one tattoo, while the number increases to 40 percent for those 26 to 40 with at least one.

Yes, people are getting tattoos, but how many of that 38 to 40 percent has something as extreme as Kitten's face tattoo? My guess would be that a good majority of them have something like their arms, shoulder, lower back or ankles done. Maybe .0001 percent of the tattooed population have their faces done.

Now, in other news, real important news that affects all of our lives in one way or another, former Danity Kane member Aubrey O'Day got the French phrase Je ne sais quoi on the inside of her left middle finger, something that's apparently already been done by Lindsay Lohan, Rihanna and a few others, while rapper-turned-actor 50 Cent has been getting a good amount of his ink removed to increase his chances of landing roles in Hollywood.

So, with 50 Cent removing his tattoos to keep the big-wig movie execs happy and with Aubrey O'Day getting blasted on over at TMZ.com, PerezHilton.com, DListedand all of the other paparazzi, you have to question if we really have moved forward in giving some mainstream acceptance to the almighty tattoo or is the world still just not ready?
